J.U.i.C.E. featured on KABC 7 news

BREAKING THE CYPHER was presented by Antics Performance and J.U.i.C.E., which stands for Justice by Uniting in Creative Energy, a non-profit Hip-Hop arts after school program that seeks to develop youth leadership, technical skills, creative expression and self-confidence through the artistic elements of Hip-Hop: breakdancing, urban art, deejaying, emceeing/spoken word and music recording. Founded in 2001, J.U.I.C.E.’s mission is to address the root causes of juvenile crime and of youths’ need for belonging by providing a safe center run by and for young people, focused on skill building in the arts of the hip-hop culture. J.U.i.C.E. programming is made possible through the generous support of our dedicated volunteer staff and supporters, the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, the Seattle Foundation and the California Council for the Humanities.

J.U.i.C.E. holds weekly sessions every Thursday located @ inside the First Unitarian Church 2936 West 8th St. Los Angeles, Ca 90005 (between Vermont & Westmoreland).
