BREAKING THE CYPHER was presented by Antics Performance and J.U.i.C.E., which stands for Justice by Uniting in Creative Energy, a non-profit Hip-Hop arts after school program that seeks to develop youth leadership, technical skills, creative expression and self-confidence through the artistic elements of Hip-Hop: breakdancing, urban art, deejaying, emceeing/spoken word and music recording. Founded in 2001, J.U.I.C.E.’s mission is to address the root causes of juvenile crime and of youths’ need for belonging by providing a safe center run by and for young people, focused on skill building in the arts of the hip-hop culture. For more information go to www.RampartJuice.com. J.U.i.C.E. is a project of Community Partners.
